Issued 10 September 2019 Resolved
All lifesaving appliances and arrangements shall comply with the applicable requirements of the Code. The normal equipment for every liefboat shall consist of a food ratoin totallying not less than 10,000 kJ for every person the lifeboat is permitted to accommodate. Rations shall be kept in airtight packaging and be stowed in a watertight container. Only 23 satisfactory food rations were found on board the lifeboat. The lifeboat is rated for a total capactiy of 36 passengers.
Condition: Invalid
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 12 September 2019
Resolution: New rations recieved and replaced old rations.
