Fleet watch

One email a week, naming what the Coast Guard recorded against the vessels you follow. If nothing was recorded, no email is sent. Every line is a record the Coast Guard wrote, with the date it carries and the date Maury first saw it. There is no status, no score and no grade, here or anywhere on Maury.

What triggers a line: an inspection or other activity recorded · a deficiency recorded · a resolution recorded against one · an operational control imposed or lifted · a casualty recorded · the filed operator of record changed.

Your list is yours. A list of hulls says what you are lending against, surveying or about to buy. Maury never publishes your watchlist; there is no “most watched” page and no counter on a vessel page. Maury never sells it or shares it, with an operator, an insurer or anyone else. Maury never counts it into any figure that could show what you are watching. There is no account and no password: one link manages the watch and cancels it, and one click deletes the list itself rather than setting a flag. This is a rule we have written down, not a setting.

Attaching your own surveys, drydock records and maintenance history to the vessels you follow is planned and is not built yet. Holding someone else's confidential document is a custody obligation — a deletion promise and a security posture — and those are settled before the first file is accepted, not after. If it is something you would use, say so and it will shape what gets built: Tell us you would use this
