Vessel history report

Every record for one hull, in one document.

$299 when it is ready. It is not for sale yet: there is no date and nothing is charged. Leave an email below and you will hear once, when it exists.

What is in it

Every recorded inspection, 1972 to 2026, in one chronology, each with the Coast Guard's own activity id so any line can be checked against the source.
Every deficiency, with the system it concerns, the dates, and whether a resolution was recorded.
Every operational control, imposed and removed.
Every name the hull has been recorded under, and when.
The vessels it was inspected alongside as a tow unit, and when.
Every casualty record it appears in, with the Coast Guard's classification.
How its record compares with hulls of similar age and size — a fact about the population, never a judgement about this vessel.

Read one first, in full

Which hulls have one

A report is offered only when the record can fill one: six or more inspections, a deficiency, or an operational control, across two or more calendar years. Today that is 18,420 of the 50,028 published hulls. Every vessel page says whether its report is offered, and when it is not, why not — a statement about the record, not about the vessel.

What it is not

It carries no score, rating or grade, and no opinion about the vessel's condition. Every figure in it is a count of records the Coast Guard wrote, or a date it recorded. The comparison with similar hulls is a population fact stated with its population. What Maury does not do.
