All access openings in the bulkheads at ends of enclosed superstructure shall be fitted with doors of steel or other equivalent materials, permanently and strongly attached to the bulkhead, and framed, stiffened and fitted so that the whole structure is of equivalent strength to the unpierced bulkhead and weathertight when closed. PSCO observed exterior door leading to aft steering allowing light to come past seal when dogged. PSCO also observed evidence of water intrusion in the form of rust around the bottom of the emergency generator room door. Additionally, the dogs would not dog properly and light was observed coming through. ILCC 12.1 50abc

VESSEL OIL RECORD BOOK (ORB) PART ONE (1) HAS SOME INCONSISTENT ENTRIES. AN EXPANDED MARPOL EXAM WAS CONDUCTED WITH SATISFACTORY RESULTS. THE DISCHARGE PIPE ON THE OWS WAS CRACK AND FOUND CLEAN. AN OPERATIONAL TEST OF OWS WAS SATISFACTORY. TWO ORB ENTRIES SHOWED THE OWS TO BE OPERATED ABOVE RATED THROUGHPUT, AND SOME MATHEMATICAL ERRORS. HOWEVER IS IT NOT BELIEVED THAT ANY OTHER ISSUES EXIST.
