1899 - other (tankers) - In tankers: a system for continuous monitoring of the concentration of hydrocarbon gases shall be fitted. The hydrocarbon gas detection equipment including analysing units etc., shall be located in a reasonably gas tight cabinet which is to be monitored by its own sampling point. PSCO observed WBT gas sampling unit in fault condition.
