The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained....Vsl is pumping seawater that is leaking from teh fracture/breach in the IGS overboard line into aft peak tank by using their E/R bilge to ballast line crossover system. Provide plan to ensure proper disposal of containminated water and cleaning of the aft peak tank and ballast system piping to MARPOL Annex I standards.
Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement

Resolution: Class provided plan to isolate the aft peak tank from the rest of the ballast system and fire line. When breach is repaired the aft peak tank will be disposed of through the OWS or to Shore facility and the ballast tank cleaned.
