All vessels must have navigation lights that are in compliance with the applicable sections of the Inland Navigation Rules. A power-driven vessel underway shall exhibit a masthead light forward, sidelights, and a sternlight; vessels under may exhibit an all-round white light in lieu of a separate masthead/stern light. Masthead/stern light was not operational at the time of the inspection. Vessel restricted from operating from sunset to sunrise and at times of restricted visibility. 46 CFR 183.420 33 CFR 83.23 (a)

Vessel exceeded two year interval on 01APR2021. Vessel required to undergo satisfactory drydock examination prior to departure or carrying passengers.

Vessel punctured its STBD aft pontoon buoyancy chamber during mooring evolution. At next Dry Dock/Hull exam make permanent repair to pontoon and prove integrity of repair.

Resolution: Pulled inset out and welded 1/8" thick 3"X5" aluminum patch over puncture. This is considered a temporary patch until next dry dock.
