PSCO observed the escape trunk door in the lower E/R with unauthorized gasket material which was not in accordance with manufacturer specs or FTP code test procedures. 74 SOLAS (20) II-2/2.1.1.1

Self-closing fire doors of the same fire inegrity standards shall be fitted in the enclosure. PSCO observed lower engine room emergency escape trunk fire door not meeting structural fire protection standards. 74 SOLAS (09) II-2/13.4.2.1.1
