DREAM SEAS is a 2009 freight ship. The Coast Guard has recorded 4 inspections since 2010, most recently in October 2017, along with 4 deficiencies and 1 operational control.
Records from 2010 to 2017. Most recent: inspection, 21 October 2017.
The 4 inspections in the strip above, split by the kind of activity the US
Coast Guard recorded. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record exists, not
years in service. What Maury does not do.
This record may be incomplete: the most recent inspection recorded for this vessel was 9 years ago. Maury shows what the Coast Guard recorded, not whether the vessel has been inspected since, is still in service, or what condition it is in. Coast Guard record current through 13 September 2026, retrieved 18 September 2026 from PSIX. Every field on this page was recorded by the Coast Guard. Records for the Bulk Carrier class in Maury's sources begin in 1981.

This hull's Official Number is not in the NVDC file dated 10 September 2026 as served by NOAA Fisheries, so no documentation record is shown. Absence from that file is a fact about the file, not about the hull.
Radio station licence
No FCC ship-station licence is recorded against this Official Number in the file of
6 September 2026. That is a fact about the licence file, not about the radio.
A report is not offered for this hull: Its record holds only 2 of the seven kinds of material a report is built from: inspections, deficiencies, operational controls, tow-unit appearances, casualty records, dimensions and documentation. That is a statement about the record, not about the vessel. Reports.

Discovered a flexible hose that was being used to bypass the OWS. When in use, one end of the hose was connected to the discharge side of the bilge pump and the other end was connected to the boiler blowdown overboard discharge line. Capable of pumping oily waste directly from the bilge holding and/or the bilge well overboard. For additional information, please see Form B.
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 14 January 2010

Fire Fighting › Emergency Fire Pumps › Pressure
Issued 8 January 2010Resolved
While testing the emergency fire pump, the pump was unable to gain suction. The lack of adequate pressure on the emergency fire pump reduces the vessel's overall firefighting capability because a fire in the engine room could render the main fire pumps inoperable.
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 15 January 2010
Resolution: Received class report attesting to proper operation of the emergency fire pump.
Vessels approved safety management system is not effectively implemented on board the vessel. The following items were noted regarding ISM implementation: failure to appropriately maintain ORB, failure to take steps to prevent pollution and failure to implement the company's policy regarding health, safety and environmental protection. For additional information, please see Form B.

Ownership record
The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title,
with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National
Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
