In addition to the requirements contained elsewhere in the present regulations, ships shall be designed, constructed, and maintained in compliance with the structural requirements of a classification society. PSCO observed clad-weld repairs in vicinity of #5 port WBT, Frame 35 which were not described in most recent intermediate hull survey report. No documentation, hot work permit, or non-confromity report was able to be obtained regarding these repairs. PSCO requests clarification from relevant certificate issuing authority.
