The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. The following cargo tank trunk domes were found freely passing cargo vapors through the gasket: Port 1,2,4,6, and Starboard 1,2,3,4,5. Crew previously attempted to tighten dogs, placed silicone on gasket in an attempt to stop vapor flow. Effect repairs prior to cargo operations.

Where cables which are installed in hazardous areas introduce the risk of fire or explosion in the event of an electrical fault in such areas, special precautions against such risks shall be taken to the satisfaction of the administration. Noted multiple explosion proof and intrinsically safe electrical glands not made tight to conduit/fixtures filled with non class-approved silicone; including but not limited to: Port ESD cable into conduit, Junction box in way of #5S drain plug missing, Majority of explosion-proof lights on forward house (A deck and main deck). Effect repairs prior to cargo opertations.
