For this purpose, the following functional requirements shall be met: Means shall be provided to control leaks of flammable liquids. It was reported and observed by marine chemist that failed flange gasket on the crude oil wash line in the cargo pump room caused a crude oil leak in the cargo pump room. Repair and test prior to cargo operations.
