A Gas carrier shall comply with the requirements of the international Gas Carrier Code. Gas Detection equipment shall be acceptable to the Administration and suitable for Gases to be carried. Vessel is certified to carry toxic cargoes. Fixed Gas Detection system panal in Cargo Control Room was seen w/improper installation w/potential of leaking toxic Gas into the space.

74 SOLAS (14) III/ 9.1 Every inflatable liferaft shall be serviced at intervals not exceeding 12 months, provided where in any case that is impracticable. PSCO observed extension letter for liferafts, but it states if vessel calls to a convenient port have it serviced. vessel will be loading inport for approximately 3 days.
