In addition to the requirements contained elsewhere in the present regulations, ships shall be designed, constructed and maintained in compliance with the structural, mechanical, and electrical requirements of a classification society which is recognized by the Administration in accordance with the provisions of the regulation XI/1, or with the applicable national standards of the administration which provide an equivalent level of safety. During a hull walk PSCO noticed three insets on the starboard side, one of which was 4ft wide and about 1ft deep. Upon inspecting the interior of the inset, PSCO noted deformation of a couple frames but no cracks and no holes were found. The vessel crew stated that they will be attending dry dock September 2026. 74SOLAS(20) II-1/3-1
