0725 Fire fighting systems & appliances shall be kept in good working order & readily available for immediate use. On May 6, 16 the vsl experienced a small engine room fire, which resulted in the crew to, released all 200 CO2 bottles into the space. The vsl no longer has CO2 to extinguish a fire if one occurs in the cargo holds or the engine room. SOLAS (04) II-2/14.2.1.2 17ac

Resolution: Received class report stating that all CO2 bottles were refilled, placed back on vessel, and inspected.
