1730-Oily-water separating equipment-Oil filtering equipment shall have alarm arrangements stem shall also be provided with arrangements and ensure that any discharge of oily mixtures is automatically stopped when oil content exceeds 15 PPM. PSCO found no product sample flowing through OCM, solenoid overboard discharge stuck in open position. Tamper seal was broken on OCM. MARPOL ANNEX 1/14.7 30a

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from Bureau Veritas, stating the deficiency was rectified. A tech rep replaced PLC control unit board and installed new Oil Content Meter calibrated 12 OCT 16. Solenoids were repaired by technician.

0750-Fire Prevention-Stairways and lift trunks which penetrate more than a single deck shall be surrounded by at least "A-0" class divisions and be protected by self-closing doors at all levels. PSCO observed holes drilled through the door jam and into the door to allow the insertion of a bolt for securing door. Penetrations voided "A-15" the door was approved to. 74 SOLAS(2004) II-2/9.2.3.4.1 40a

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from BV stating the deficiency was rectified. The holes in doors and door's jam were welded and inspected by BV surveyor.
