Resolved 12 October 2024
Resolution: The defective pressure gauge was removed and replaced with a new gauge. Soap and water test was conducted and no leak was observed. See attached document IOANNIS R_Survey Report_12OCT2024.

The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. PSCO observed water leaking form cylinders 2, 3, and 5 on the main engine. This leak could result in engine overheating.

Fire Fighting › Fixed Fire Detection System › Smoke Detectors

0715- Detection-Fire detection and alarm systems shall be kept in good order to ensure their required performance. PSCO observed that the cargo hold smoke sample extraction system was off. When the crew turned the system on it displayed a fault in the no. 6 cargo hold. The crew cleaned the smoke extraction fan filter, and the fault cleared. The system is now operable- SOLAS 74 (09)am II-2/14 10c
