A vessel that is exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a dry-dock examination and an internal structural examination at least once every two years. As per her COI, JOURNEY is currently outside compliance and can no longer operate under the conditions of her COI. The vessel may operate in the following alternative services, within the limits of the vessel’s current stability letter: (a) as a small passenger vessel, carrying 6 or less passengers without deck cargo, with one licensed master. (b) as a bareboat chartered recreational vessel carrying 12 or less passengers with no crew provided by the Owner/Operator. Vessel must undergo a satisfactory dry-docking in compliance with 46 CFR Sub-chapter T, in the presence of a USCG Marine Inspector, in order to clear this deficiency.
