For tankers of greater than 20,000 tons. The protection of the cargo tanks shall be achieved by a fixed inert gas system that complies with the FSS Code. Instrumentation shall be fitted for indicating the oxygen content of the inert gas. The vessel's nitrogen plant oxygen sensor's cell malfunctioned. The vessel's captain has ordered a spare replacement oxygen sensor that will arrive at the next port. Vessel shall not load cargoes that require inert gas until oxygen sensor is replaced. 74 SOLAS (20) II-2/4.5.5, FSS 15.2.2.4, IBC Code 17 15ab
