Those two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus shall be of an explosion-proof type or intrinsically safe. Ships constructed before 1 July 2014 shall comply with the requirements of this paragraph not later than the first survey after 1 July 2018. Fire parties are not provided with portable radios. 74SOLAS (CONSL 14) II-2/10.4

Vessel reported that the number three Generator is "out of order". Vessel has two fully operational Generators and the Emergency Generator is also fully operational. Vessel plans are for parts to arrive in Houston and proper repairs be made prior to departure from Houston.
