Where remote control of propulsion machinery from the navigation bridge is provided and the machinery spaces are intended to be manned, the following shall apply: the speed, direction of thrust and, if applicable, the pitch of the propeller shall be fully controllable from the navigation bridge under all sailing conditions, including manoeuvring. The vessel reported to the attending inbound pilot inability to control engine movements from the navigation bridge. Vessel must conduct sea trial to verify repairs prior to departure from the Corpus Christi COTP Zone, and must adhere to all pilot restrictions and instructions.
