Resolution: O-rings were replaced to stop the fuel leaks on the strainers. All three (3) generators were operationally tested to the satisfaction of the attending surveyor.

74SOLAS(2009) CH II-1/Reg 29.16.2 The main steering gear shall comprise either two independent and separate power actuating systems or at least two identical power actuating systems. The Vessel's number 1 steering motor has burnt out. Vessel only has 1 working steering system. To be rectified prior to departure from port and to the satisfaction of class.

Resolution: Vessel replaced #1 steering motor and system tested by class. Motor operates properly and vessel now has 2 working steering systems.
