Minor deficiency. No. 2 Main Service Generator was dripping black oil at about 5 drops/minute, causing an accumulation of oil at the base of the Generator. Not a big enough leak to warrant immediate action, however, presented a small source of ignition. Class must attend vsl and fix drip prior to next U.S. port after sailing foreign. 74 SOLAS 2009 Cons. Ch II-2/4.1

Resolution: SECNY received email with class report, clearing outstanding deficiency. Oil Leak stopped by replacing the gear case mist drain cock at Generator No# 2. No further Oil Leaks have been reported.
