1530 - All ships of 3,000 GT and upwards shall have a 3GHz radar or, where considered appropriate by the administration, a second 9GHz radar, or other means, to determine and display the range and bearing of other service craft, obstructions, buoys, shorelines and navigational marks to assist in navigation and in collision avoidance. Vessel's X-Band radar was reported inoperable before arriving into the port of Jacksonville where temporary repairs were made until the vessel receives replacement parts. 74SOLAS(14) V/19.2.7.1 - 16a
