Every ship to which chapter 1 applies shall carry an appropriate porartable atmosphere testing instrument or instruments. Suitable means shall be provided for the calibration of all such instruments. PSCO observed ships crew using free-flow regulator when the manual for the portable gas detector required an on-demand type regulator, or an air bag to accompany the free-flow type.

Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement
