A fixed fire-extinguishing system required by paragraph 5 below may be any of the following systems: Afixed gas fire-extinguishing system complying with the provisions of the Fire Safety Systems Code.
The Piping for the distributuion of fire-extinguishing medium shall be arranged and discharge nozzles so positioned that a uniform distribution of the medium is obtained. PSCO observed 01 discharge nozzle in engine room clogged.

Duct keels and ventilators shall be of the same strength as watertight bulkheads at corresponding levels. PSCO observed forward Duct keel hatch unable to secure properly.
