The high-level alarm must activate once the cargo level reaches 95 percent of the tank capacity or higher, but before the tank overfill alarm; active a visible and audible alarm so that it can be seen and heard where cargo transfer is controlled. PSCE tested multiple tank high-level alarms and no audible or visual alarm was seen in CCR or out on deck. 46CFR39.2007(c)(1) & (c)(3)

Following installation, the master, owner/operator, of the vessl subject to this subpart must properly maintain the BWMS in accordance with all manufacturers specifications.
