Resolution: Vessel submitted class report attesting to the deficiency being rectified.
Inspectors witnessed active sheening between ships stern and pier. Upon further investigation, inspectors discovered a large container of lube oil located near the aft shaft seal. It was discovered the drain collecting unit for the stern tube had multiple liters of oil. This is inconsistent with ships maintenance manual and suggests possible seal damage to #3 and #3S. 74 SOLAS (14)CH II-1/26.1
