The controls for remote operation of the valve for the emergency generator fuel tank shall be in a separate location from the controls for the remote operation of the other valves for tanks located in machinery spaces. The pull for handle for the emergency generator broke while testing. 74 SOLAS (09) II-2/4.2.2.3.4

Resolution: Wiring for the pull for handle for the emergency generator was renewed and in operating condition. Flag was onboard as well.

Satisfactory means (in the form of guard rails, lifelines, gangways or underdeck passages, etc.) shall be provided for the protection of the crew. On the port side maindeck guard rails were found broken, shackles for guard rails chains were missing, and stanchion connections (D-rings) were found broken in the following locations: port side forward and aft accomadation ladder missing(see form B).
