In addition to the requirements contained elsewhere in the present regulations, ships shall be designed, constructed, and maintained in compliance with the structrual, mechanical, and electrical requirements of a classification society. The Vessel experienced an allision by a Tug vessel leaving an approximate 3ft by 2ft by 1ft inset portside between frames 130 and 132. Affecting the integrity of cargo hold #3. Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 10 July 2018
Resolution: Received class report attesting to scope of damage. Permanent repairs to be effected at next scheduled dry-dock.
