No Control Actions Imposed. 01 deficiencies issued / 01 cleared / 00 remain outstanding. Conducted satisfactorY fire / abandon ship drills. Issued Form A/B, Exam complete. Deficiency is as follows: Code 0955- All arrangements used for pilot transfer shall efficiently fulfill their purpose of enabling pilots to embark and disembark safely. The appliances shall be kept clean. Propperly maintained, and stowed and shall be regularly inspected to ensure that they are safe to use. During pilot transfer. The San [name withheld] Pilots noted that the ships Pilot ladder was in very poor condition. Upon inspection the PSCO discovered the ladder to be in poor condition. Resolution: USCG received class survey report from NKK. The vessel cropped and renewed the section of pipe which had the temporary soft patch. Class witnessed and tested the repaired area under normal operating condition and found no leakage or abnormality.
