The ring, lines and letters shall be painted in white or yellow on a dark ground or in black on a light ground. They shall also be permanently marked on the sides of the ships to the satisfaction of the Administration. The marks shall be plainly visible and, if necessary, special arrangements shall be made for this purpose. PCSO observed deck line unpainted due to corrosion.

PSCO observed portable space heater inside DG#3 switch board.

Life rafts intended for throw over launching shall be stowed as to be readily transferable for launching on either side of the ship. PSCO observed 6- man liferaft was incorrectly strapped down, causing a significant delay in launching capabilites. 74SOLAS(14)III/13.6
