THE APPLIANCES SHALL BE KEPT CLEAN, PROPERLY MAINTAINED, AND STOWED AND SHALL BE REGULARLY INSPECTED TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE SAFE TO USE. 74 SOLAS (20) V/23.2.1 PSCO OBSERVED STARBOARD SIDE PILOT LADDER HAD A PARTED LINE.

(01) 07102 - For Tankers of 20,000 tonnes deadweight and upwards, the protections of the cargo tanks shall be achieved by a fixed inert gas system in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code. The IGS has an O2 fault failure, therefore the IGS will not operate.

Resolution: Vessel's IGS is fully operational. See DNV-GL Survey statement narrative. MSD Port Canaveral PSCO's verified the operational condition of the IGS. IGS is now compliance with all required alarms and shut downs per the FSS Code.
