The fuel shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located. The pull handle for the port fuel shutoff valve broke off of the mounting, which has dry rotted, preventing the cable from fully pulling the shutoff valve closed. Manual closure from outside engine compartment shall be fully made prior to vessel returning to operation with passengers.
