THE ARRANGEMENT OF THE WATER SEAL, OR EQUIVALENT DEVICES, AND ITS ASSOCIATED FITTINGS SHALL BE SSUCH THAT IT WILL PREVENT BACKFLOW OF VAPOURS AND LIQUIDS AND WILL ENSURE THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE SEAL UNDER OPERATING CONDITIONS.
