PSCO observed emergency generator failing to start due to quick closing valve to fuel tank being in a closed position. 74 SOLAS (24) II-1/43.3.1.2

Resolution: Received class report attesting to proper repair. The ship's Master and Chief engineer performed a crew training for Emergency generator test. An instruction was posted to verify the operational condition of the Emergency generator after the regular test.

PSCO observed a violent vibration and and the rudder surging during steering tests. Vibrations could be felt by PSCE's on the bridge. 74 SOLAS (24) I/11 (a)
