The electrical power available shall be sufficient to supply all those services that are essential for safety in an emergency. The vessel's emergency generator is inoperable. During testing, the V-Belt snapped and damaged the fan; rendering the equipment unable to properly cool down.
Prior to conducting cargo operations the emergency diesel generator must be operational.

Resolved 6 April 2023
Resolution: The emergency generator (EDG) has been reapired by installing a new radiator and cooling fam recieved from the OEM. Generator passed a 60 Min load test, all engine parameters were found to be in normal range.

PSC Examiners were unable to determine if the vessel had sufficient foam concentrate onboard.
