0611-Lifeboat Inventory-These rations shall be kept in airtight packaging. PSCO observed that 22 of 27 food rations for the free fall lifeboat had compromised airtight packaging. SOLAS 74 (2014) III/34 17a.

Resolution: Received class report from [name withheld] stating that the outstanding deficiency regarding compromised food rations had been rectified. The class report stated: 30 new food packages had been supplied to the vessel with expiration dates of July 2021.

0750-Fire Prevention-The failure of such gauges or overfilling of tank shall not permit release of fuel into the space. Administration may permit the use of oil-level gauges with flat glasses and self-closing valves between the gauges and fuel tanks.
