The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to confrom with the provisions of the present regulation to ensure the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed without danger to the ship or persons on board. While vessel was transiting the Delaware River the vessel experienced a reduction in propulsion. Bridge control of main engine was lost and remaining transit needed to be controlled from engine control room. 74SOLAS(20)I/II
