Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. PSCO noted both port and starboard forward embarkation ladders are frayed and wasted near the anchoring points/shackles. 74 SOLAS(14)III/20.2
Condition: Improper/Lack of Maintenance
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 11 December 2018
Resolution: New embarkation ladders were installed to replace the deteriorated and frayed ladders. Class attended and attested to the ladders and installation.

1220 - Freeboard Marks - The ring, lines and letters shall be painted in white or yellow on a dark ground or in black on a light ground. They shall also be permanently marked on the sides of the ships to the satisfaction of the Administration. The Port State Control team observed that the vessel's starboard side Load Line was not permanently affixed to the ship. -ICLL 66 I/8

Resolved 30 July 2018
Resolution: After reviewing the photograph of the load line taken by USCG inspection team and those submitted by the vsl, KR Class confirms that the load line marks on both side shell plates are in compliance with the requirements of Load Line Convention and KR rule.
