The vessel's port side engine room fixed fire extinguishing system discharged. The vessel is allowed to depart Hawaii and transit to Maui with the the following fire watch plan in place.
While underway the port engine room needs to be inspected every half hour and have additional portable fire extinguishers readily available.
The vessel must make permanent repairs to the port engine room fixed gas fire extinguishing system and conduct operations/ test the system in the presence of an attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector and prior to operating with passengers.
