Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted proper documentation from the vessel stating the deficiency was rectified. Vessel provided email evidence that they purchased the correct license for their software which enables access to shore station GMDSS information.

0628-Stowage of Liferafts-Each liferafts shall be stowed with a float-free arrangement complying with the requirements of paragraph 4.1.6 of the Code so that each floats free. PSCO observed that port-side liferaft was secured permanently via a shackle below the weak link, thereby rendering it unable to float free as designed. SOLAS 74 (2014 cons.) III/13.4.2 10 c
