Several electrical wires were found undersized, laying in bilge and unsupported. All wiring other than indicating circuits must be 14 AWG or bigger. All wiring must be supported with metal brackets every 24 inches and as high out of the bilge as possible.

ON Dec 14th, 2021, TROPICAL DESTINY repowered with new Cummins 6.7L model QSB6.7. Old engines were Cummins 5.9L. Weight differnce between old and new engines is approx 49lbs with new engines being 49lbs heavier. Total weight change is 98lbs more. Since MSC issued your stability letter, any weight change must be reported to MSC. Passenger count is reduced by 1 until MSC approves weight change. Max 48 passengers of 29 divers with gear.

Water pump on port MDE is leaking water into bilge. Keep eye on pump, if engine starts to overheat or bilge alarms goes off, must secure operations and fix prior to carrying passengers. If none of the above happens, continue to keep eye on it and continue with operations until scheduled drydock next month. Must fix by end of drydock Jan 2021
