AIS shall provide automatically to appropriately equipped shore stations, other ships and aircraft information, including the ships identity, type, position, course, speed, navigational status and other safety-related information. Vessel Traffic Services center Los Angeles - Long Beach observed vessel not transmitting required AIS information while preparing to be piloted into Berth 84.
