STEERING GEAR CONTROL SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR THE MAIN STEERING GEAR, BOTH ON THE NAVIGATION BRIDGE AND IN THE STEERING GEAR COMPARTMENT. DURING INBOUND TRANSIT THE VESSEL LOST ALL STEERING CONTROL ON THE NAVIGATION BRIDGE, INCLUDING BOTH FOLLOW-UP AND NON FOLLOW-UP CONTROL SYSTEMS.
