For vessels required to meet the damage stability standards of subpart H of this chapter, when Class 1 doors are installed below a deck the molded line of which at its lowest point at side is less than 7 feet (2.14 meters) above the deepest load line, an indicator light for each door which warns when the door is open must be installed on the bridge. E/R escape trunk WTD indicator was stuck in close position. Crew sprayed lubricant and cleaned it so it operated properly.

The piping shall run in sight wherever practicable, protected against mechanical injury, and effectively secured against excessive movement and vibration by the use of soft nonferrous metal liners or straps without sharp edges. The port generator's fuel return line's fixed piping is excessively vibrating with machinery running.
