Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from NKK stating the deficiency was rectified. C/E troubleshot the failure according to the maker's manual and was able to resolve the malfunction. 6 detectors successful operational test was confirmed.

The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. PSCO observed flexible hoses running throughout engine room connecting components of the sewage system. Hoses are ran in an unsafe fashion and are leaking at the connection point to the valves of the #5 Stbd holding tank. Provided with temporary approval document without issue or expiration date. SOLAS 74 (a), I/11a, Rectify deficiency within 14 days, Code 16

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from NKK stating the deficiency was rectified. Flexible hoses running throughout the engine room connecting components of the sewage system shall be replaced by steel pipes by 29 December 2024.
