2050- Inert gas system shall be capable of inerting and maintaining the atmosphere in cargo tanks with the required O2 content. The two blowers located above and downstream of the scrubber have external corrosion and water leaking from both fan housing. Areas of concern could allow O2 to be drawn back into the IG system.

Resolution: Class has inspected the IGS fan assemblies and has found no indications of water leakage or corrosion. Photos showing these issues have been uploaded for review prior to future inspections.

0799- Fixed foam fire extinguishing system shall be approved by administration (to be tested annually - FSS code/MSC circ.670). Current analysis report (dtd Jan '11) has location which should indicate whether foam is acceptable or not acceptable. No indications are made to the form to attest to the condition of the foam.
