Notwithstanding the requirements of § 155.5021 of this subpart, a vessel may continue to operate for up to 2 years after the date of submission of a vessel response plan (VRP) pending approval of that VRP, if the vessel has received written authorization for continued operations from the Coast Guard. (b) To receive this authorization, the vessel owner or operator must certify in writing with an original or electronic signature to the Coast Guard that the vessel owner or operator has identified and has ensured, by contract or other approved means, the availability of the necessary private response resources to respond, to the maximum extent practicable, to a worst case discharge or substantial threat of such a discharge from their vessel. (c) Those nontank vessels temporarily authorized to operate under the provisions provided in this section must comply with 33 CFR 155.1070(c), (d), and (e). Vessel does not have an approved NTVRP or written authorization for continued operations from the Coast Guard. Provide NTVRP approval letter or UCCG authorization letter.

Vessel is overdue for it Subchapter M Annual 3 Survey from its TPO. Complete within 14 days.

External audits for obtaining and renewing a TSMS certificate are conducted through a TPO and must include both management and vessels as follows: (b) Vessel audits. (2)An external audit must be conducted no later than 6 months after the issuance of the initial COI for vessels subject to the owner or managing operator's TSMS that have been owned or operated for fewer than 6 months prior to receiving the initial COI. Vessel has been not been operating under the new managing operator's TSMS. Vessel must complete an external audit within 6 months.

Electrical systems and equipment must function properly and minimize system failures and fire and shock hazards. Vessel reported that the main distribution panel caught fire while under shore power. Provide a causal analysis report for the incident, a repair plan, and a class survey report attesting to the repairs made.

Subject vessel is 430 GT ITC. At this time, vessel must submit objective evidence that a VRP has been submitted to the USCG for approval no later then 28FEB22. Vessel can only operate within the Port of New York.
