74 SOLAS 20 III/20.2: Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life-saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. The forward liferaft was damaged beyond repair durig a voyage through a storm and required a full replacement.

The bronze fitting to air inlet line to reversing actuator for No. 3 Main Engine Cylinder was found fractured. Vessel carried out temporary repairs. Class recommended that permanent repairs be carried out prior to departure from next port, not later than 10 Sep 11. USCG Port State Form B requirement: Vessel to make permanent repairs IAW ABS Survey Report #PO2025830 prior to next U.S. port.
